Hi, I'm Mia, single mom to a teenage son and two dogs. I've been a range of weights and sizes during my life and right now I'm looking for a happy medium between ultra fit and totally not fit. I'm at the largest weight and size I've ever been - I know not as big as many people, but big enough that I'm not comfortable - and I don't feel good. I don't feel healthy, energetic, or very happy with my current state of being.
Please join me as I work towards better health and well being. I've done a ton of research on health, fitness, and nutrition and currently work in medicine where I see the effects of poor diet, unhealthy habits, and lack of exercise among a large population every single day. I hope to use this blog to inspire not only myself but others as well in a journey towards better health.

I hope you will be inspired by my journey and will get started on a journey of your own if you aren't already on the path to health and wellness.
